I am new to the board and have been powerlifting for a few years but have not started to take it as serious as i should untill the last year or so. Right now my best total was at an apf nc meet Jan 06. I totalled 1720 at that meet in single ply equipment. I am 24 now and id like to take my lifting to the next level. So i thought now id post some of my workouts and take some advice from you guys.
feb9 squat day.
Warm up with some light leg extension and some hamstring curls.
2x8-10 @135 2x8 @245 put single ply zsuit on, knee wraps, and belt 1x8@335 1x6@425 1x6@525 1x4@615 1x3@665
It was a heavy squat day for me
Feb 12 Heavy bench day
bar for a few reps
2x8@135 2x8@225 put on size 60 inzer blast shirt 1x6@320 1x4@370 1x3@410 1x3@420 1x3@420 then 2 more reps with a spot. 1x6@320 pause reps
Tri push downs 3 sets of 12-15. I didnt have much energy left, Monday was one of my best bench days ever.
Feb 14 really sore!
siting militarys
4 sets 10 behind the neck 10 in front to the chin.
Down the rack standing dumbell curls. 3 sets of
60s for 10 50s for 10 40s for 10
3x12 preacher curls
Ill try and keep updating this as much as possiable. I will listen to any advice. I will be moving up to Fayetteville in 2 weeks and will be without my training partners so I need as much help as I can get. Thanks

Thanks, I am looking to try and upgrade my equipment here soon. I have always just wore the cheapest inzer stuff I could get. WHen I train heavy squat, I normaly put on my suit, but I normaly dont wear my benchshirt.

hit the legs last night
leg extensions
1x30 1plate 2x30 2plates 1x20 4plates 2x15 5plates
heavy leg press
I couldnt tell you the weights, ended up with 3 sets for 8-10 with all it could hold.
2 sets of narrow squats, just belt and wraps. Trying to get them as deep as I could, but with so much blood in the quad was only getting about an inch and 1/2 below.
1x8@ 335 1x4@525
At this point i was about 2 seconds away from seeing my lunch again, and all my training partners were layed out....so headed home. I was actually asleep last night by 10. Body went into shutdown!

arms today
3 sets of preacher curls 7x7x7, suppersetting light pushdowns 3 sets of standing dumbell curls 40s for 20 reps then 30s for 20 supersetting light skull chrushers 3sets 30lbs one arm preacher curls.

Have not had time to post, but today was my last day before i leave for my football season.
2x10@135 2x6@225 1x5@315 put on shirt 1x4@365 1x2@410 pause 1x1@460 (first time i have got it clean) 1x0@480 shot up off my chest good, but didnt have enought tri about 3/4 the way up. Still pretty happy. Felt good to have that kind of weight in my hand.
The next few months I will be living in Fayetteville, so I wont have my training partners. Even though its a cheap ol bench shirt I wont be able to get any work with it. Anyone in about an hr of Fayetteville interested in helping me out. Ill do the travel.

had my dates mixed up I dont leave out till Saturday night, so i trained some light legs. Just did some extensions, hamstring curls, and some light narrow squats. Nothing to write home about. I coach at a highschool around here, and we are taking some kids to a push/pull meet tommorow. Ill let you guys know how it goes.

sorry its been so long, been all over the place with football. Had been out in LA, but got a knee injury last week and got released. So hopefully I can get back to posting my training logs. Looks like I will be benching with my knees ups for a little bit. Today was pretty easy. Just did some easy bench. Having a hard time to keep motivated with the knee hurting.

well guys my season is over and maybe my for good. Just had acl surgery along with getting my medial and laterl minscus shaved. So I will be in a leg brace for a bit. Looks like ill be working on just my bench for awhile. Being I wont be able to put 1 leg on the ground for a bit anyone have some suggestions?
