1-12-07 ME BP 505X0 MISS.....WHEN I START GOING HEAVYER IT FLYS OFF THE CHEST BUT IT GOES OVER MY FACE AND I LOSE IT.....DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY POINTERS? We will get a vid next time so people can view and comment.

JOEY, IVE LOOKED AT A COUPLE THINGS ON WESTSIDE AND METAL MILITA AND THEY SAY WHEN YOU PRESS TOWARD YOUR FACE IT COULD BE BECAUSE MY SHOULDERS ARE STRONGER THAN MY TRICEPS WHICH IS A BAD THING. IT ALSO PROBLEY DOESNT HELP THAT I LOSS MY TIGHTNESS AT THE TOP. STEVE IS GOING TO GET A VIDEO OF ME NEXT TIME I PUT MY SHIRT ON AND ILL PUT IT ON HERE FOR YOU TO CHECK OUT.

Hey Joey just my 2 cents on the bar position over the face and this is just my opinion! It's not a good position to be in when your fully locked out you need to be over the high portion of the chest. If your use to being over the face sooner or latter you going to get a nasty kickback and they are not fun trust me! I still have the scares on my neck and chin where I took 500lb to the throat. One way to fix this and it worked for me is when doing floor presses start out at your 2nd abb or your touch spot and work from there. Just wanted to add some of my thoughts anyways welcome to the board and look forward to your progress.
