Hey Joe, please explain "405x ½ Katana". Does that mean 1/2 of the range of motion? Thanks

Hey Joe, please explain "405x ½ Katana". Does that mean 1/2 of the range of motion? Thanks Yes sir, that's what it means. The shirt is so rigid that I am probably going to start skipping this and going right to 495. It's usually more like a 1/4 rep because it doesn't move much at all.

ME Bench Bar x 15 95x10 135x10 185x5 225x5 275x3 315x1 365x1 495x ½ Katana 585x1 2 board 655x0 to the chest – I tried twisting the sleeves on this to see if it would help me on the lockout, but what it did was make it hard as shit to touch. I had to roll my wrists back at the bottom for it to touch and then I was out of position on the press and missed it at the lockout once again. Same shit different day…
DB Floor press 100x10 110x10 125x8
Mini band press down 3 sets of 30

Saturday 09/14/07 ME Bench Geez, Jo, what about the part where you had to patch up the hole in Schwab's head and winning the "battle for the belt"? Sounds like you guys have a little fun while lifting all those heavy weights!!

Nice work Jo.... Thanks Joey. ;D Cheryl, it looks like you have been reading Schwabs journal. I guess I am going to have to go more in depth on my logs to let you know some of the weird shit we do and the strange things that happen to us. Schwabs head is fine except for that line of skin thats missing. The amount of blood that came out of that "scratch" was amazing. It caught us all by surprise.

I head for Schwab's journal first thing when I log on to Elite! He's quite a character. What I really want is a picture of you wearing that belt out to the bar . . .

If I win it this weekend I'll be sure to take a picture and post it. Although Tugboat has said that whatever I do off a 3 board for a single he will do for a triple. I don't doubt that he can do it since this kid is a monster. I'll let ya'll know what happens.

Saturday 09/22/07
ME Bench Bar x 15 95x10 135x8 185x5 225x3 275x2 315x2 365x1 495x ½ put on Katana 585x about a ½ inch from touching and pushed it up 605x dumped it 625x1? The general consensus was that it was not locked out because I did not show control and started to lean to my left, but some said I would have gotten white lights. All I know is that I thought it would have been easier.
Decline 135x10 225x10 315x3 405x2 415x1
I lost the heavyweight belt to Tug today because he did 675 for a triple off a 3-board. Kalin lost the light weight belt to Schwab because he did 545 off the chest and Kalin missed 555.

Sunday 09/23/07
ME Squat Bar x 15 145x8 240x5 330x2 445x1 535x2 briefs 625x1 715x1 new Boss (black Boss) 800x1 straps up 890x1 Full Gear 960x1 PR 1000x ½ felt real good and I wasn’t shaky, but I cut it big time. First time with that much weight on my back.
I was supposed to pull today, but the squat workout took us about 3 ½ hours to finish. I have also come to the conclusion, with the help of Tug, that I do way to many warm up sets and make too small of jumps. I’ll have to work on changing that because I was exhausted after the grand attempt.
Next week we do our openers for the Tampa meet.
