yeah right.....vids?...me?...lol My wife actually did come to this meet. The first one she has been to in a couple years or more. Our vid cam hasn't worked in a couple years either lol Nothing wrong with it electronically, but the door won't open and we are too lazy to get it fixed lol Guess I need to do that, huh? lol Oh well.....just hit more at the next meet and maybe have the cam fixed. The only think I might can do is see if anybody had a vid rolling...I don't think the meet director had one.

Decent workout....I wanted to get in there and work on some raw strength. Just felt like it was too soon to jump back in the shirt. Prolly back in gear next week. I think that with a little work on my unequipped strength I can see 600 being a good short term goal on this brd.

ME Bench(choked rev greens from mono, shirt)
warmed up to 500x3 raw 660x3 not even close 750x1 about 1" away 805x1 touched 870x1 touched
Done! lol I went in with all intentions of lifting easier today. rev bands for triples. That wwent out the window as soon as Jon implied I might could go heavy if I felt good! lol
We figured the setup took about 50 off the chest, total deload at the top....
Didn't feel all that good, but went heavy anyway! lol I have had a sinus infection lately and I seriously thought I might violently discharge the entire contents of my head onto my stomach! I was hoping it was blood cause that would be hardcore....covered in snot would just be nasty! lol
dad told me 3 things to remember as I live: 1. Todays wasted talent is tommorrow's regret 2. Don't let a talented pussy make your decisions for you. 3 Son. sometimes you show a talent for dumb.
Today I was living closer to number 3, but it all worked out in the end!
dad only benched 350, what does he know? Paul

Skipped my lockout work this time. Just focused on the shirt work. Tried out a new X I got....the 725 was easy, so the shirt is good....just not used to a shirt this tight, gonna take some work to get it to my chest.
Can you believe that it took 3 hours to get just the shirt work done? We have a lot of people going in our groups now, 10 people putting on shirts. Even with 3 benches going takes too damn long....

sorry it has been so long since being over here. Hope everything is going well with all of you...
I'll post some meet results. On 6/30 I did an APF Tenn state meet....
Opener:750 easy missed 815 at the top missed 860
Nailed down openers for KP's UPA meet in columbus...
UPA meet: opener:766 easy dumped 859 Just missed 865 at lockout
Another 1 out of 3 day. Not exactly what I wanted, but I am sure that I am stronger now than I was when I got hurt. IN a shirt anyways...Hopefully will be able to do Bills UPA meet in IOwa Sept 1. PLan on hitting 800+ there and maybe get that damn 865 the next time. After that prolly the Ga state meet sept 15th

Workout felt like shit for a while. Speed picked up after the 4th set though. I think not really training for the last 3 weeks or so(while I was doing those meets) just made me feel like shit while training.
I tried out a new belt tonite. I was thinking that the old belt was so wide It was killing what arch I could get and holding my belly in. I got a thinner belt and tried it out. I will reserve judgment until I use it in my shirt. It was hard to get used to at first. When I pushed it would stretch. I was used to my belt not going anywhere. Later in the sets It was getting better.
Threw in some incline DB's to help with control at the top. Held these at the top too. The first couple sets the dbs's were moving around some at the top, so I knew these would help. By the end I was holding and controling good. I'm gonna throw these in on my de day and add db floor presses on my me day. Along with chains on my 5 brd should get rid of this control problem at the top I am having.....

Yeah the last 2 meets I have opened really safe. I hit that 750 then 766 at Kennys in Columbus. I plan on opening at 800+ at Bills meet Sept 1st, than see what happens at the Ga state meet sept 15.....hell I don't train anymore I just do meets lol
BW was at 306, but now after going to the Ukraine I am sitting at 298! I have to gain some back if I want my shirts to fit somewhat right! GD Ukrainian food! Has me shitting for 3 days so far!
I have been opening in my DD. I know it so well that I can always hit in it. Been using a Rage X for my other attempts. Ordering a Phenom tommorrow to see if that can help me any....

BW was still shit at 298. I have ate a ton since I been back and din't gain 1 single pound! Sucks for me. I hope to get some back by thur or I will have to jack the shit out of my shirt for them to work lol

Called it a day. I decided to go straight to my shirt instead of the 4 brds. The problem with doing the 4 brd raw stuff first is that I tend to have a problem with my groove in a shirt after doing them. Used the old trusty denim tonight......even though Jon tried to kill it with the dry cleaning, it just won't die! lol
I taped my left thumb up to help support it and it helped. Plan on going to a 1 brd next week or doing rev band stuff as my last workout before Bill's meet. Goin to open in my DD and then go to the X and see if I can get a 900 bench in this time. BW was at 302 so getting back to normal. I would like to come in at 308 even, but don't know if I can get there or not.
I should have done some reps on the 2 brd after.....I'm a slacker! Never bench 900+ messing around like that. I need to step it up!!!!
