Yeah, we have a good network of people in Marion; seems like there's always someone around to help who knows what he or she is doing and what we are trying to accomplish. makes things a lot easier.
Tuesday, July 22 DE bench 1X bar X5 1X 135 X5 8X 225 X5
Floor press 7X 235 X5
Straight bar tri pushdowns combined with tricep cable extensions behind head – lost count after 8 sets; kind of went off the deep end doing set after set. probably in the neighborhood of 12 to 15 of each tricep exercise with no rest between sets. had some zombie on the mp3 and just lost it. that was a great feeling.

Wednesday, July 26 Barbell bent rows 1X 135 X5 8X 225 X5 Narrow grip lat pulldowns 3X 240 X8 Cable rows 3X 225 X8 Machine curls 1X 35 X10 1X 40 X10 1X 45 X10 1X 50 X6 Forearm work with heavy exercise bar 3X 30 seconds Forearm DB curls 3X 30 X8 Cable double curls 8X 30 X12 last workout before leaving for the beach friday We are going to topsail and there is a big Y in wilmington, so i am going to try and get over there at least a couple of times. Either way, i plan on hitting it hard as hell when i get back. everybody have a great productive week, and thanks again to everyone on this board who shares his or her knowledge with the rest of us.

Thanks bro! Had a good week at the beach, very relaxing. Fishing sucked because it was so god-awful hot down there; heat index was 115 or so every day. Still, caught a few flounder and assorted trash fish, and caught my first shark, a black tip, about 20 inches. Not a big one, but he gave a good fight. Worked out with Ron Monday at the Y. Hit a pr. Here it is: Monday, Aug. 7 ME bench 1X 135 X5 1X 225 X5 1X 245 X5 1X 265 X3 1X 275 X1 1X 285 X1 – pr 1X 300 X0 3X 225 X5 3X 225 X3 – paused reps, 2 seconds 15 sets of cable work for triceps, super-setting three exercises to finish up, working right arm more reps than left to counteract strength imbalance, as per Mr. Smith's instructions

I know it's good to take a break but I kind of felt bad about not training all week. And too, we ate really good and I gained about 5 pounds. Still, not bad. Glad to be back in the gym, though.
