Put your fucking hands up you motherbitches!!!!
Today was my favorite day. LEG DAY!!!!! Saddly I found out some bad news 10 minutes before my workout started. Then while warming up I realized I had tweaked my right hip again while deadlifting. Luckily Mr Tadpole came in and said yeah uh uh right ok what ever damn yeah put your briefs on right yeah ok. Hey look at that girl over there ahahhahaha do some squats shut the fuck up. I hated to put on breifs but I had to so I put them on and rolled them down so the belt would not grip them.
Banded box squats 6 sets of 6 to seven reps.
Purple band doubled on both sides.
145 X 6 185 X 7 205 X 6 215 X 6 225 X 6 235 X 7
Inner and Outer hip abduction 2 sets each 12 reps
Abdominal work was to follow. My training partner is the shit.

Yesterday we raised the dead here in Clayton, NC. Myself and my fellow Powelfiting Super Hero invaded the gym man horns fully exposed. Not a farm animal or pre menopausel woman was safe or to be found in a 20 mile radius. All the men dropped to one knee, and all in attendance thanked their god that such imortals would grant them pardon.
Deadlift: 5X6 Last 3 sets were with 405. On my last set I picked that stuff up 12 times.
Glute Ham Raise 4X7 Pull downs with the V-bar 4X10 went up to 195 Tadpole spotted my last 3 attempts.
Abdominal stuff followed this.
I am experiencing some pain along the outside of my left knee. It pops sometimes and when I flex my quadriceps I feel a clicking in my knee. I am not sure what is going on. I injured myself last year in a motorcycle crash. I notice it hurts most after deadlift. I believe that the weight causes an inward motion on the knee and is stressing my MCL. Any ideas before I go to the doctor.

Wade that is called the past life of the Paratrooper, my knee's were very finicky for a few years till I targeted them better. Hope nothing is jacked up with your knee's, just baby them bro. Give them a little more attention and I am sure you will be fine.

I'm having problems with the outside of my knee as well, as long as I wrap it I'm fine no wrap it gets painful and starts poping. Don't have a clue what up with mine I'll just keep wrapping it till that doesn't work any more.
Great job on the 405x12 thats sick.

Thank you for all your input. I have asked several others what they think and everyone seems to be at a bit of a loss. Mr Breker raises a good point about being a paratrooper. Trea, I firmly support rapping my knees. I do not rap tight, and use short raps for training. I agree with you that rapping may be the way to go for my sittuation. I am going to wear a neoprene sleeve on my left knee. Also some re-hab type movements, and proper iceing may help. Thank you to all.

it could also be a piece of cartilage floating around in there, in which case the fix is easy via arthroscopic surgery. when you do things like jumping out of planes, sometimes you can damage your knees without really knowing it. just pay attention to what it feels like and don't put the joint in any awkward angles.

Thank for all the advice. I will give it a go for sure. Now on to my least favorite excercise, bench press.
Flat Bench Purple bands.
135 X5 155 X5 175 X5 175 X5 175 X5 all sets with 4 board.
Then repeated all weights with the three board. I ran the fuck out of gas by the 7 th set. Tadpole will not have to work back this week. I squarred him away.
Dumbell bench press
70 X 6 90 X 5 90 X 5 I took it a little easy here I had a bad experience with this a few months ago.
Shoulder machine
2 X 20 70 lbs 1 X10 130 lbs
Tricep push down with v-bar 3 X 10 I used less weight this week. 140 lbs
Rolling Reverse Tricep Extension
3 sets of 10 worked up to the 30's tonight.
Tonight was a good experience the bands were much heavier this week. Tadpole actually benched tonight and went to failure 1 set. This is cooler than most of the other shit that has happened in the gym lately. The reason being because the Tadpole Man-chine pushed the limits with out hurting his shoulder. Hell he out benched me tonight. That is great!!

Your workouts look great.
Make sure to get that knee checked out. I had knee surgery on both my knees (cartilage) and the orthopedic surgeon did a good job on both. If it is cartilage that really won't affect you much. I know I made one of mine worse than it had to be by playing football on it and not getting it fixed when I first noticed it. The tear got bigger as a result and I should have gone in sooner. If it is free floating cartilage you won't miss it at all since it is not doing you any good buffering the joints now anyway. Good luck with it.

I actually talked to a physical therapist that works out at our gym. He told me I have a type of hamstring strain. Pretty much where it ties in to the knee. He recommended I do stiff legs and rack pulls for a few weeks. He also said I should leave glute ham raises and leg curls alone. The squats are not hurting it believe it or not. One thing I am doing is some rehab type movement to strengthen the muscle around the knee so it will track better. Last knight we had a guy who is going to college for some type of medical stuff work out with us he gave me some solid advice too. Anymore pain I will go to the doctor. Thanks for checking in with me.

Deadlift type activities yesterday.
Kept it light kept it easy.
Deadlift 4X5 only using 315
reverse hypers with the monster band a light band and a mini band
3 sets 10 reps
v-bar pull downs 3 sets 8 reps
Some abdominal work
Yesterday was light and easy. Life is about to change dramaticly in and out of the gym. It is time to get serious. Monday is day 1 of my 11 week routine. I will be mixing in some cardio and lots more stretching. We also have a new partner training with us. You all are not going to believe this.
