10/19 ME BP
I can’t train this evening with the big boy(s), so I did some stuff at the gym during my lunch break.
Floor press with fat bar 120 x 3 200 x 3 220 x 3 240 x 3 250 x 1 265 missed twice
Face pulls, 3 x 10 Light military press with kettlebell, 3 x 12
Training alone sucks.

10/21 ME DL
Pulls from floor Ace briefs 230 x 3 320 x 3 410 x 3 Add Titan single ply DL suit 460 x 3 500 x 2 515 x 2 530 x 1 (missed second)
The Titan DL suit didn’t do much at all because the straps are 2” too long; they were falling off my shoulders when I reached for the bar. I’ll have the lady take the straps in 2 inches, but even with that I think the suit may be a dud.
Rack lock outs, worked up to 590 x 1 (not very good)
Pull down Abs, 3 x 10

10/24 Upper Accessory
Blast strap push ups, 1 x 15, 1 x 10, and 1 x 8 Green bands push downs, 3 x 12 Military press with 53lb kettlebell, 3 x 6 Pull ups with blue band assistance, 3 x 10
All done in 30 minutes.
I wonder if anyone has ever looked at the affects of totally eliminating accessory work from their training routine. Would there be a significant drop in the amount someone can squat, bench and deadlift by just focusing on the major lifts and eliminating all accessory work. Sometimes I wonder if all this extra stuff has any impact whatsoever besides hypertrophy.

Steve try that out and let us know! I am really not sure to be honest. I like to use acc work for blood flow on deload weeks and to keep my masculine figure!....I have always incorporated some bodybuiling in my training. I like doing it. Now weather its helping my bench I doubt it....

If you did only the main lifts there are limiting factors that include strength, technique etc. The point of the accessory work is to strengthen the individual links in the chain. So if you keep getting stronger muscle wise from accessory work our strength limiting factor will move higher; as well as other perks such as rehab, restoration and etc.

10/26 ME BP
Fun was to be had in Hickory Friday night. Everyone hit a PR, Buddy hit 470 to the chest, Cheryl smoked 230 for an easy triple and the “Big Boy” hit 660 off a 3-board, but could have easily doubled it. Sorry, no video coverage had technical difficulties.
Warm up to 230 x 3 raw
Katana and monster mini bands doubled 3-board: 230 x 3, 260 x 3, 285 x 3 4-board: 305 x 3, 325 x 3 5-board: 345 x 3
No accessory work.

11/2 ME BP
Doubled light bands 2-board: 230 x 3, 245 x 3 (buddy helped on the last rep, I got loose) 4-board: 300 miss 5-board: 300 x 1, 320 miss
Body weight dips, 3 x 8 Chest supported rows with 3 plates, 1 x 8, 1 x 6, 1 x 5
It was not a solid night for me, couldn’t get close to my board PR’s with the light bands doubled. It takes a few times to adapt to the band tension. Buddy and Cheryl looked strong.
