RE squat took part in a study my dear friend and occasional lover mike isreatel (probably butchered that) was conducting at the neuromuscular lab. consisted of about 5x5 olympic squats with very light weight some with bands and some without. afterward i did clean and jerks working upto 225 for a double all wearing chucks! ME bench today i should have just stayed at home and rested as i'm a touch sick with the sinus crappy doo doo shit, but i wanted so badly to practice my shirt form. i sound like the teacher from charlie brown when i try to talk. i'll be sick longer for doing this but hopefully the lessons learned will last much longer. raw warm up 135 3x5 185x5 225x4 255x1 add old rage-x 300x2 no touch 320x2 no touch 340x2 touched 2nd. belt was too high and shoulder slid out but not as bad as normal. 360x1 PR my belt wasn't down quite far enough which made touching a bitch, i slid up the bench a good 5 inches cause of my shirt (under rage-x, idiot!) and my right shoulder again was about halfway out of socket at lockout until it slid back in which made lockout easy. the way i set up the shirt today used to be my worst enemy as far as shoulder problems but with my revised technique it was actually managable. i won't tweak the sleeves quite as much but i learned a ton about how i need to set the shirt for my style of bench. that said, for being sick, weak, and not jacking my worn out shirt at all, i'm quite happy! video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhasKwjSPqQsong: vader - reborn in flames lesson: putting shirt on palms up is still too much but stick with elbows out and touching low

de-loading GPP its been a while! walking about 10,000 miles from my car to the school x6 farmers walk 1 trip= 50yards 80lb per hand x1 130lbs per x2 yoke push sprints (prowler pretty much just bigger) 5 trips hard as i could run foam roller work on my back, lats, and more back. overdue for sure, there's definitely a bit of a tear in the right erector spinae. song: slayer - bloodline (love this video!!) www.youtube.com/watch?v=6SdmsWBO7O4lesson: wendy's is the calorie catch up plan, tom araya can be one scary mofo without even trying and kerry king is pure role model material.

over head squats worked upto 145 3x5 easy
box jumps holding 2 50lb db's, 19" box x5 21" box x5 parallelish box box jumps same weight x5 really like these, more ROM and more force output required. 50's are a good baseline

ME squat generally a good day but training wasn't that special, had some pretty rough stomach probs right before squatting which is always a confidense booster. ox mason and mike white came up to visit for a lil while, was great seeing them! warm up - lasted about 3 days and included helping load a tire on a truck squats 55xfew 145xfew 240xfew 330xcouple briefs 420x2 470x2 510x1 +wraps 560x1 tater sack straps down 610x1 easy actually was parallelatherabouts for the first time in these briefs really felt weak and "pooped" on the last couple singles so i just shut it down and saved it for another day. really wanted to dunk 650 straps down today walked out though :/ oh well video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=qZy73k-oG3wsong: ace of spades - motorhead lesson: we live to play another day

bench ass wanted to try something different today military press 55 2x many 105 2x10 db bench very short rest, first set was 13 reps, took 10-15 breaths and did 7 reps then 10 more breaths and was able to eek out 3 more reps tri extension (standing way back from the machine) 15 reps, 15 breaths, 9 reps, 15 breaths, 6 reps done bent over rows 4x10 song: radiohead - paranoid android www.youtube.com/watch?v=szdWPWnnNlslesson: dog crap isn't always bad

ME squat and pull trained with brian g today. had on a scale of 1- 10 on the energy scale i had -4. thats right i was the anti energy. low box squat 55x some 145 some 235x some 290x 2 310 2x2 raw reverse green band pull - 100ish off bottom and completely deloaded at top conv 135x joke 225 x couple 335x2 sumo 430x2 or 1 not sure 520x1 570 3x1 maybe it was 2 sets i dk back to conventional 470 1x5 touch and go, was kinda fun GHR ham curls RP set (guesstimates) 8, 6, 5 not 100% on the reps on everything, going off 4-5 hours sleep and after a stressful school day. just frazzled. brian should have video up sometime soon song: Mushroomhead - Kill Tomorrow www.youtube.com/watch?v=j9bpna1ymP4lesson: reverse bands doesn't impede as much on form as much as goin against them. also, show some true emotion and you'll get the same from others.

ME bench i got more and more sore throughout the day from deadlifts and the GHR fiasco from yesterday but i wanted to try and break in my shirt more. oddly my rear delts were fried along with my upper middle and lower back. for some reason my hams were sore too hmmm...... warm up: shoulder flex stick overhead back and forth thing i read dante swore by. it seemed to transfer the scar tissue from my left to right shoulder...... bench 45 3x many 135 2x5 185x3 230x3 255x1 new shirt on 320x1 no touch 340 2x2 no touch but closer 370x2 no touch either, mainly because the shirt was so high in my throat it would have missed the grove by a good foot db incline 3x10 light wendy's 1800 calories x1 it was a grinder band tri push downs RP set 13, 8, 5 1 set of holy fucking hell my tri's are cramping like they're paid to followed by...tricep stretching and crying video will come tomorrow or friday, nothing great to see tho song: devildriver - cry for me sky www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zm5QPr8eGM0lesson: gonna have to work on the collar of the shirt to keep my shoulders in place and not be choked. being fried from deads always maked for a great bench session.
