shirt day workin in the new shirt i got yesterday for the first time worked upto 225x4 raw single ply fury 275x3 new rage-x 315x3 about 5 inches away 335x2 4in away 355x1 3in away 2-board 365x2 thats enough superset tri pushdows and lat pulls 2nd session warmed upto 225x2 again raw rage-x 275x3 5 inches 2-board 315 3x2 its getting closer..... song: beastie boys - intergalactic www.youtube.com/watch?v=GDS83yrM30Ylesson: bench should go freakin die in an alley

ok cut update, i started at 183 yesterday this morning i weighed right at 180. at 4pm i weighed 176. and now at 10pm i weigh 172-173. hopefully sweat 1-2 off over night and sweating the rest on the car ride. everything's on schedule pretty much.

quick update before i passout and fall asleep. totaled elite (1580@165) with my opening deadlift. left a lot on the platform but i was really conservative in my attempts to make sure i didn't screw it up haha. i'll post a full recap tomorrow

my NC APF state championships recap 1-26-08 this meet would be my last chance to meet the goal i set at the same meet exactly one year ago, to hit an elite total before i turned 21. my bodyweight on tuesday was 183 but i had committed to the 165's a month before so i dropped the 18lbs by friday morning and rehydrated as well as i think i could have all day friday using lessons i'd learned in the past to avoid problems. ended up weighing about 185 on meet day. squat 639 good - loose straps loose wraps, easy weight 666.7 good - convict wraps and tighter straps, faster than first 705 miss - got a lil too crazy and messed up the subtle stuff, got forward and lost leverage out of the rack. strength was def there just screwed it up, whatever. bench cool thing about sucking at bench is you don't take long to warm up at meets! just 3 sets 135 225 and 275x2 in shirt haha 320 good - easy conservative opener 352.3 good - right shoulder slid out a bit off the chest and elbow was caught tucked in, kept driving back over the face and it slid back in and i locked it out easy deadlift bumped up my opener for exactly what i needed for my elite total 562.0 good - smoked it and the corners of my mouth have been welded to my ears ever since! 606 miss - just really tired 606 miss - got it to the knees but just out of gas. total:elite 1581@165 before my 21st birthday, goal achieved if i tried to thank everyone who helped me at this meet i know i'd leave about 100 people out so i won't do that. but i had ATLEAST 20 total people helping wedge me in and out of gear and everything else throughout the day from my gym and many other friends from around the state. you guys know who you are and i appreciate every single one of you for the help and support. oh and the banana nut bread was incredible!!!!
