I'll pass the message along to the guy's & girls.... 8/1 M-E bench raw warmup 135x10 185x5 225x3 315x1 365x1 400x0....just thought i'd give it a shot. 1brd raw 365x3 385x1....stopped here, my chest started hurting just alittle. I'm going to bench in the rock hill meet in sept so i didn't want to make matters worse.

Yeah we're doin Will's.Glad you guy's are coming, almost our whole team is competing. This will be Sharon's first full power meet, we are all looking forward to it.

8/5 Speed bench 275x5x3.....did these with the bands hanging from cage to deload at the bottom.Chest is still sore and got a semi heavy day coming up wed so just taking it easy today.That was all the time i had today, was doing some coaching with the other guy's that were there.

Joey, we are riding down the morning of, but we'll be weighing in early fri. Quess we'll see you one of the two days for sure. 8/8 M/E squat-deadlift rackpull......raw (just below knee,conventional since my knee still hurts) 135x10 225x5 315x3 365x3 405x3 455x3 495x3 545x3 585x1 My plan since i haven't pulled conventional since april of 04 is to work up to 635-650 at this pin height then drop a pin & so on. Picking a target weight and bringing it closer to the floor has worked well in the past and also has worked very well for me in the bench as well so with no other choices at this time i'll give it a shot and see what happens.

8/12 Me and jonathan did Marc Bartley & Donnie Thompsons seminar they but on in columbia, had a great time learned lots to boot.I felt like i did a full meet when they got through with us. Here's what we did...... parallel box squat w/breifs using a buffalow bar w/purple,green,and blue bands attached per side. 145x5 235x5 325x2 375x2 415x1.....heavy as hell at the top with all that band tension. speed dead lift 225x3 315x3 405x3x2 sets rack pulls....at the knees 225x3 315x3 405x3 495x3 585x3....w/straps 675x1....w/straps bench work 2 brds with 135 on the bar. We started with one mini and kept adding them till we got stopped. I ended up with 4 minis & a purple on each side.Then we done speed work with a fat bar & 2 sets of chains on each side for 4 sets of 3. Then ended up with some kettlebell work. Thats it cause i had nothing left.

Joey you hit the nail on the head! To many people think they know it all and it just limits their success.Stacey kettlebells look like a cannon ball w/a handle on it.You can do various exercises with them but i couldn't begin to explain them. Check out elitefts.com i think they have some exercises w/ pictures on there site.

8/19 max squat 1'' above parallel in chains 145x5 235x3 325x2 415x2 505x2 595x1 685x1 775x0 go my ass smashed!! Not up to that yet, should have spilt the difference and went 735 first then baby steps from there, i'll know next time. speed deadlift 365x3x3 sets....out of time had to go get my little girl.
