6/28 speed bench 205 for 5 sets 3 reps, 245 for 1 set 3 reps (all w/purple band dbl) 4 boards 365 for 5 385 for 5 405 for 5 425 for 5 last on was ruff 7/1 speed sq-dl squat 305 for 3 sets 2 reps 335 for the same, all w/green bands dead-lift 365 for 6 sets of singles 405 for 1 495 for 1 all of these were done standing on platform w/purple bands over the bar. thats all for now....this is the calm before the storm (i hope)!

7/3 M-E bench (deload week) illegal wides 275x6 295x6 315x6 325x5 ( little help in the middle on the sixth one) finished up with chain suppended pushups 4x20

We do it to work the bottom end of the lift. It also increases the range of motion for the lift making you work harder.
