6/1/06 DE DL
Sumo speed pulls standing on two mats, 50% with 30 lb chains on each side My goal was to concentrate on proper form and speed, but I’m not a sumo puller and the chains were awkward, so it was pretty ugly.
Zerchers for D. (I swear this guy Zercher is laughing at my name) 4 x 8 @ 135lb, pin 4
Full contact twists, with 25lb plate on bar, 4 x 10
Back machine, 3 x 10
I ordered a kettlebell two weeks ago to use on DE SQ/DL day, but I have not received it yet. How long can it take to make a cast iron ball with a handle on it? I don’t get it.

Not as fun as a 700 lb rack pull. Good work! A pad - that would have been a good idea. I'll try it next time.

D, I was doing the pulls with brisk strides. I can’t run, that would be cardio and I would probably pass out. I’m going to start with more weight next week.
I saw the stability ball AB crunch with bands on one of the old WSB squat/dl workout videos that I recently bought from Melvin. I don’t how old it is but Tate has hair and Vogelpohl looks like he’s 198. Send me a PM is you want to watch them and I will send them to you.

I finally received my 16kg starter kettlebell so I played around with a few things.
Double arm swings from squat position, 4 x 25
One-arm kettlebell snatch presses, 2 x 5 each side
I will start to incorporate some KB work at the end of my DE sessions.

Were you sore at all Steve from this new exercise? The whole Kelltebell phenomenon has me very curious.

Hams and glutes are a little sore.
It’s funny how something so simple can become a phenomenon. I wonder what was invented first, the kettlebell or vodka?

i wonder if vodka was created and tested about 30 minutes before the kettlebell?
