Derek's niffty lil leg warm up routine 10 snatch squats 135 5 convt. 5 sumo 185 5 convt. 5 sumo 185 5 convt. (green band only doubled over for top resistance only) 5 sumo " " 4x1 135 convt. (mini red band quadrupled over) 4x1 135 sumo " " 8x1 185 sumo " " speed sets only 30-60 seconds of rest Moose and Maxson noted that I'm not getting my ass down and am consequently using too much back and not enough hips and legs... not looking up and sitting back seems to be a theme for me on my pulls. NEED TO FIX IT BY MAY 12!!!!!!!
Aux: 4x10 wheel-o-death 4x10 side bridges 4x10 standing ab crunches with spud's strap

4/26/07 ME Bench (first time every using a shirt raw PR=245)
chest, shoulder and tricep warmup barbell warmup 1x5 135 1x3 190 1x3 230 add shirt 1x3 230 3-board 1x1 250 2-baord 1x1 280 to chest 1x1 290 1x1 300 1x1 315 Fail
we cut open the back of the shirt to be able to jack the chest plate down where it should be... could not hold my hands out to the rings and elbows didnt stay tucked before shirt slipped off shoulders... almost dunked on my face
4x12 shrugs 4x10 tricep dips

didn't wanna over do it and make more bites on my arms to accompany what was already there from last week. gonna open at a safe 290 and goal 325. much lighter and i cant touch, 275 was as low as i can go but was way to conservative

pretty much been taking some time off from weight room to assure that my body is healed by may 12. i have been doing a lot of cardio on my days off even before this week. i know im close to weight now but i have to go to charlotte for my physical agilites test soon and i have got to make sure my stamina is where it needs to be. also been doing some core work along with my cardio and push-ups, pull-ups, lunges and vertical press-ups at home in the evenings

update on the hip... doing a lot better only a little tight and the only pain i have is when i rotate my leg outward and apply pressure. some minor pain when i lunge forward but other than that i can function with almost no hinderance. like i said on saturday i compare my problem like one you might have with an ankle. you can sprain your ankle and feel the excruciating pain imediatley but within 24 be back on your feet. within a week or two your back to normal. its bitch dealing with and i knew during warm ups that i might have a problem but went ahead and ignored my body (DUMB!!!)
JULY 28... the next big date. look forward to seeing all of you there
