7/13/06 DE SQ/DL
I’m in beautiful San Diego for a few days. This morning I went to the downtown Y for a workout.
Sumo Speed pulls 55%, 8 x 1
GM’s with 135lb, 4 x 10
Pull throughs with ultra wide stance, 4 x 12
Pull downs, 4 x 8
Side bends with 80lb cable, 3 x 12
Take the red eye back home, should be worthless tomorrow.

7/15/06 DE BP 40% with blue bands and index fingers touching smooth part of bar, 8 x 3 Tri extensions with EZ bar plus two 35lb plates, 3 x 10 Tate extensions wit 30lb DB’s, 4 x 12 Seated cleans with 30lb DB’s, 3 x 8 Hammer curls with 35 lb DB’s, 4 x 12 (I tried these with a 36lb (16kg) KB and could not do a single rep) Not a bad session considering I took the red eye back from San Diego Thursday evening. Today (Sunday) I was toast.

Stiff-legged DL on a 3” box, 315lb x 5
Incline shrugs 195lb, 3 x 5
Weighted crunches, 3 x 15
Reverse hypers with a 35lb plate, 3 x 10

Nice Steve, I have been getting great gains in doing bellow parallel squats. Since you are redeveloping your bottom strength it will prove itself 10 fold when you are in competition bro.

7/19/06 BP Training at AC Fitness
Worked with Barry and Mike on competition bench form (with shirt) for an upcoming AAU meet. Need to work on leg drive, proper foot position, etc.
Incline press
Bend rows
Shrugs with lat machine
