ME bench- Gillespie Week 3 bw: 283 raw bench 135/10 225/6 315/1 370/3 380/2x2 400/1(grinder!!) 335/2x6 335/5 incline HS 225/10 315/3x8-6-5 kettlebell shoulder presses 24/2x12 45/12 kettlebell hammers 45/3x15 standing french presses 75/3x15 board machine press /3x15 ***felt better tonite than i did last session...trained with jason tonite..still got stuff runnin in my mind though...this apartment thing is goin to be the death of me...LOL!! that 400 for 1 was a grinder but i finished it. seems like my off-chest strength is coming up now so i'm happy about that. tried something new with the kettlebells and did shoulder presses and hammers with them...u really feel them doin the hammers too!! they were something different to try though. so far...3 week is down and 5 weeks to go and it seems the next 2 will be harder than this week... ***our last dead session tom... :bawling: :bawling: we did some good work. jaosn attempted a PR with 565...but ass came up early. tried it twice though too!! i was pullin in nikes which were hard since i usually pull chucks...(my feet can spread the floor more) so i was a little uncomfortable pullin in nikes...next time i'll bring my chucks regardless...LOL!! after deads we let tom take the reigns and hit DB rows hard...tom makes the 150s look so fuckin easy its not funny!!

***from now on i'm staying with hammers...curls don't do shit for me anymore....LOL!! the squats about killed me but jason was fine...me thinks jason was holding back this time...:twisted: nearly killed myself on leg presses...got to failure on the last set and tried to rack it and missed it and ended up doin one more rep to lock it back out again....wasn't that fun!?! LOL!! off to a party tommorrow to tom's b-day party...LOL!! HCB

You get any rebound out of Briefs Curt? Dude if you ever get a chance get a Metal Pro Deadlifter! The pull off the ground is unreal. Anyways nice ballance of Deadlifts you been doing, I think for sure its going to pay off.

thanx mike...i'll have to look into that metal since your gettin such good gains from it. the briefs i have now i get something out of it when i go conventional...don't get anything when i pull sumo...but i have to give it time though.. HCB

***i totally destroyed my chest and triceps. started my last set with 345 early so i did 5 countable reps with help on the 6th. repped out with 225 for 18 reps...still tryin to get steve's 27 reps which is the number to beat....LOL!! i'm takin a deload next week to work on speed. after last nites session, i feel i need it and my bar speed is startin to slow up...at least on the descent. i did declines for the first time in a long while...225 was bitch weight but didn't have the tricep fortitiude for 315 so i dropped to 225 and bitched repped it again. then did DIPS!! this shocked the shit out of me cause i'm not known for dips but i did them and i was really pleased with how far my off-chest strength has come but my lockouts are startin to suck ass now. LOL!! after that did some shoulder work, hammers, and triceps with the KBs and as done. i'm goin to lighten up on the shoulder work on bench days...stickin to laterals mostly. my shoulders are/will pretty much fried by the time i get to them after chest. for those of u who read WSB 6 week bench routine in PLUSA back in march(the one with mendy on the cover), know what i'm talkin about. next week will be some good old speed benchin with 225 plus 1 or 2 dbl minis...i also ate and talked lifting with 2 other guys later that evening(picture should be up now) one of which placed 7th in the strongman in chattanooga this weekend...the other is the one i've mentioned before who's done 700 squats raw and 600 deads raw for REPS!! with just a belt too!! i'm hopin to get him onto the platform this year... oh and seein the exchange of shit talkin between a 165er and a 275er has made my day...LOL!! HCB
