Thanks Joey, hoping to finally crack that 700 and more. My training went awesome and I got a new training partner. I met him on Monster Muscle Forum and he got to train with Bill Crawford, Sebastian Burns and Jesse Kellum. A wealth of knowledge and someone to help me correct my mistakes only wish that I had met him earlier into my training cycle. But the last 3 weeks have been a plus and after worlds its all out to fix my mistakes and become an even bigger bencher.

ME: Shirt 1 600 x 1 650 x 1 Shirt 2 600 x 1 650 x 0 650 x 1
Tricep Pushdowns: 70 x 10 80 x 10 90 x 10 100 2 x 15
Broke in my new shirt and smoked 650. I switched out to my older shirt (opener) and dumped 650 on my stomach. No injuries decided to take 650 again and smoked it. I didnt want to end my last bench day on a sour note. The only problem is which shirt to use at worlds. The new one or the older one I dont know if there will be enough time to warm up both shirts at the meet. Oh well, I'm going to just let it all hang out and see where it takes me.

Thanks bro. I've been using a single ply Rage X. WABDL wont allow the double ply and open back shirts.
Oh well, gotta use whats legal and hopefully next year I'll jump to APF and give a shot at the double ply and open back shirts.

I just got back from vacation and I dont have any good news to report.
It totally sucked at worlds I bombed for the first time at worlds after 9 straight years. My first day I opened with 650 and just couldnt get it to touched and completely dropped it on my belly. Stayed with 650 like an idiot and dropped it again. Went up to 672 and almost got it to touched when my wrists rolled forward and I was completely out of position to press so told the spotters to take it or break my wrist.
Decided to go for it the next day and tried my old faithful shirt and opened with 650 and it wouldnt touch again so instead of dropping it called for the spotters to take it. Then went to 705 and it stopped about 1/2 inch from touching and it wouldnt come down anymore no matter what I did so I pressed it back up and racked it. Again I stayed with 705 thinking it would touch since the shirt got stretched out and boy was I wrong same thing again. No lift and a complete BOMB out at worlds.
The biggest thing I found out that my weight never dropped like I anticipated and I weighed in at 239. I need to believe in my abilities to press the big weight and stopped second guessing myself. I should have gone with 705 or 722 as my opener and not messed around with 650. It was a bad time to find that out at worlds and I have learned a valuable lesson and hopefully I will redeem myself in June.
Until than I will lick my wounds, stay focus, train hard and let all the shit talkers at home say what they want but I will be back...
