An outstanding powerlifting event is to be hosted by the Tri State Sports Complex this fall in Delaware County, PA (just South of Philadelphia).
The IPA Pennsylvania State Powerlifting Championships will take place September 16, 2006 from 10 a.m. until conclusion. The competition will offer an open professional division and an open amateur division.
There will also be divisions for sub-masters, masters, teens and women. The Director is Bench Press World Record Holder Gene Rychlak.
Tri State is one of the largest sports complexes in the USA. It is the home of the Philadelphia Soul Arena League Team, the Philadelphia KIXX pro indoor soccer team and the Philadelphia Wings pro indoor lacrosse team.
