I went to the gym for the first time since Sr's today and did legs. My problem is what to do with the other 6 days a week and what to do. I can't rotate my wrist due to the cast on my left arm so I'm at a loss on stuff I can do. Mike suggested shrugs w/the safety squat bar for traps, and i think I can use the side lateral machine for delts. Good mornings w/that same bar should work too. Damn doing abs every day! I have a strength coaching certificate and NEVER had a client do abs daily! I just need some good ideas to use/try for the next 5-8 weeks. I refuse to sit on my ass and let those I consider slack or weak to reach, or God forbid , pass me. I had to swallow a little puke taste tonight, but I wasn't going to let anyone at the gym think I was tired or giving up! Fuck em'; lazy bastards w/ weak hearts and weaker minds.
PS. keep showing the love for Juliana, Cooke, and Julie. She's laid up in a hospital bed but you don't hear her bitchin' and moanin'. God bless that little girl and keep her strong.

When I broke my wrist years ago, I put the straps that go around ankles for leg work on the cables just below the break. You can do bi's, tri's, anything you can imagine. You will be spending a lot of time around those cables, but you know the ladies like to show that sympathy. Hope that helps.

Ronald, the cast goes up over my elbow bend. Dr. Nikta said I can't rotate my wrist. I could probably pull with left arm but the range of motion would be minimal. And your right about the sympathy; I worked last night and every drunk bitch there asked about it. Mark, what gym are you training at now?

barry do you have a sled you can drag? if so just go to town on that thing...forward, backward, sideways, light for distance, heavy for short passes. it's miserable but it'll keep your whole body in shape. also hip belt squats, hypers, reverse hypers, step ups, hatfield bar squats, etc. i know that's mostly lower body stuff though. ok don't laugh at me, but since you're limited in what you can do now is a really good time to work on your arch and flexibility. may sound dumb but thing how can much you 1 board or 2 board. cut 3" off you stroke and now you're benching your 2 board! just a thought cuz i know you're gonna come back stronger than ever anyway...might as well be with a shorter range of motion

Whats up man? That arm is healing stronger every minute I'm sure. I am working out with Joey at the YMCA in Marion, Nebo country. I'm trying to remind myself that this takes time and that my new shirt, my firts, is not a magic shirt with special powers.

Doctor removed cast today and replaced w/forearm splint. More than happy and amazed at how fast it's healing. Told him I was premedicated . Asked if HGH would speed up healing; Dr. said lots of calcium, vit.D. Pretty sure I'll need a higher red blood count to boot.
