The Double Kettlebell Windmill is an advanced and brutal movement that builds core strength and shoulder stability. Brett Rapp incorporates these into his routine and most of us know about his squatting and pulling numbers. Brett will hold a 44lb KB overhead and get down and lift up a 56lb. According to Brett, “windmills help the core like no other and all of us know that a strong core means big squats and pulls. They also hit the hamstrings, glutes and lower back with force and they build big shoulders from holding the bell over head. “ Here is a video clip of Steve Cotter explaining the proper form for a single arm windmill.
