Many people incorporate sled dragging for GPP and to warm up the PC before their SQ/DL days. I have listed below a few ways to use the sled for GPP while working the lats and upper back. The Sled RowI use blast traps that I bought from Elite to do the two-arm rows, but my favorite method is to use a 1-1/2” diameter PVC pipe for a handle and do single arm rows. The large diameter pipe also helps with grip strength. Sled Row to the NeckWe all know about face pulls for the upper back. This is the same idea except you are pulling a sled. This movement is best done with two handles to get the most ROM. I usually do a few sets for distance; say 3 trips at 50 yards. The Diesel Crew ( www.dieselcrew.com/articles.htm) has some great articles on sled dragging and I used a few of their pictures for this thread. For more sled movements, I recommend reading the following articles: Todd Wilson - Sled Dragging: Part I Todd Wilson - Sled Dragging Part II - The Fundamentals Good Luck. Steve
