anybody have experience with any of the metal pro briefs as in pro briefs, viking pro briefs or metal ace pro briefs? i just ordered some ace briefs from elite so i would have something to squat in for the january meet. i've been in pure single ply equipment for my illustrious 1 year PL career so i'm a lil lost on the multi ply stuff. i have a friend who said he was going to send me a single ply suit he doesnt use anymore so i may use that over them but it might be too much suit for me who knows. any advice or experiences are appreciated.

Postal, I've had all of them and all but the viking pro's will work well. Matt at Elite said the vikings weren't big sellers at all, I didn't get any rebound from them. On the other hand with the ace or the regular pro's either one I would bet that you will (if they fit properly) squat more with just breifs on than you did with any suit you've tried before. The double ply stuff compliments our training so much better than most single ply gear although I know there are some exceptions. Any ways great choice and don't be scared to load the bar up!! If you need them altered give me a call, we have a guy local that does ours. He only charges $10-15.00 to tighten up the hips etc. Hope this helps....704-506-0770

sounds good greg, i almost got the viking briefs since they were cheaper but i guess its good i didnt. my hips measurement is 36 and i ordered a 34 to be safe since the regular pros and the vikings had a small difference in the sizing. i've got a lot of experience in getting in rediculously tight stuff so it shouldnt be a problem. my 485 squat was with a single ply metal viking v-type with the straps down and medium wraps. thanks for the alt. guy info also.
