i feel like im at an AA meeting.... My name is derek and i have dieting problem. i eat pretty shitty and i dont gain weight. i take the ecto approach to weight gain which is focus on protein consumption and calorie intake, not much else. i'm looking for help in gaining weight. 7am protein bar/ yogurt with oatmeal with water 10am can of chicken with water 12pm can of chef boyardee lasagna and a can of peaches with milk (i can drink milk with most everything) 3pm 2 bags of peanuts with water 4:30 can of campbells chunky gumbo with milk and bread 6-7:30 water through the workout cytogainer weight gainer cookies and cream post workout (mmm mmm good) probably find something else to eat, odds are a few peanut butter and honey sandwhiches, with milk of course. EDIT: 10:30pm i just had 2 peanut butter and honey sandwhiches and damnit they were good! with milk somebody explain why i dont gain weight?

7am protein bar/ water 10am can of chicken/ water 11am large handful of muscidines! love'em 12pm 2 cans of chef boyardee spaghetti with a can of beans thrown in/ milk 2pm more muscidines 3pm honey bun and water 6-7:30pm water through workout 7:30pm cytogainer weight gainer 10:00pm 2 peanut butter and honey sandwhiches

you're not gettin enough quality protein. ditch the pro bar at breakfast and make it a shake, with 2 packets instant oatmeal. save the bar and have it later with the grapes or peanuts as a snack. chef boyardee is not your friend unless you add in some chicken or beef. not nearly enough protein; your calories are not nutritionally "dense" enough.
all i see is a little bit of chicken and a lot of carbs, most of them simple. the cytogainer is good, but it wont make up for the difference. do you eat fish at all? do you take a multivitamin? what about beef or turkey? ~MINX

yesterday
6am yogurt with raw oatmeal/ water 8:30am 2 packs of instant oatmeal apples and cinnamon/ mixed with milk and drank milk fell alseep at about 9:30 til 2:30, i was tired! 4pm large bag of beef and broccoli stirfry (serves 2)/milk 6pm Candy Corn Pumpkins because i love them/water 7pm 3 peanut butter and honey sandwiches/ milk then water
thanks for the advice minx, is the yogurt with the oatmeal ok for breakfast? i have a multi and omega 3's on order right now. i have a super tight budget right now and if i'm gonna have a decent diet i need very cheap sources of complex carbs and protein dense foods. i switch between tuna and the can of chicken at 10 usually. got any cheap alternatives?

today was pretty cool, not great food wise but i think it was better
7am cytogainer and a can of peaches 10am can of chicken protein bar and gatorade 12 chef boyardee beefaroni with chicken thrown in (best i can do currently) 3pm peanuts workout and a few errands 8:30 6 eggs oatmeal and milk
dk why but i weighed in 5 pounds heavier today than normal at the gym seemingly just from reordering a few things and adding fruit.
