Do YOU get offended by excessive celebration after a lift ? How about theatrics before the lift (See the video of the guy dead lifting from Clayton) ? Myself, along with Mr. Smith have at some time or another showed the crowd how happy we were about our lifts. I apologized to the guy in Mt. Airy that lifted before me over that outburst. Personally I love to see emotion mixed with adrenaline. It makes for great memories.

I love to get the crowd into it and pump myself up....I like watching guys talk shit, raise hell, instead of just turning away and walking back to the warmup area....Chip Stewart (besides me ;D) is the most intense lifter I have ever seen!....it make good entertainment and fun....and also the Robot guy in Clayton was great fun to watch!....

i love to see emotion of all kinds on the lifting platform. the crowd doesnt really play apart in my lifting unless i need that extra push from some support in the stands grinding out a lift. celebrating is a great thing after a hard lift that got whites as long as nobody pulls out a sharpie or a cell phone from their singlet to call momma on the platform.
