Famous question comes to mind for those who are wanting to alter or reinforce there own equipment "What kind of Thread". One comes to mind that has the ass and strength to hold up to the test and that is "Upholstery Thread". Fairly common and can be bought at most Supper Wall Marts for about $2.00. This stuff is heavy grade and can be tiresome to work with, but is very reassuring when the work is complete. One identifier of this type of thread 9 times out of 10 it will have a purple label at the end.
