Hi,
My name is Kim Hansen, and my wife, Janet, and I have been married 10 years and have two great boys. I've lived in South Dakota all my life, and having exposure to a decent lifting environment has been relatively tough. With that said, I've been embarking on my own, and I have been lucky enough to associate with some of the strongest people in our state/region.
I've been lifting on and off for about 15 years now, with an interest in benching, as my bad knees and back haven't given me much support for deadlift and squat.
I've recently been reading alot about the gains that people have been posting, the articles written about utilizing the Metal Militia program, and also I've also been wanting to compete in a bench competition, and experience shirted lifts. That's led to a renewed interest in seeing what I can do to improve!
I'm 5'8", weigh 180-185 lbs, and my bench has always stagnated around 300-315. I'm sick of it, and want to blast that barrier off the map!

300-315 @ 185 is nothing to scoff at. The fact that your at a point many lifters want to be (315) is a Helluva' base to begin with.
If you don't have it yet, pick up "The Kennelly Method". It makes a difference reading and seeing Vs. hearing people talk about benching technique. Mike White has some videos from EFS that give step by step help in your setup.
