My name is Dale Glenney and I live in S. Jersey. I'm 56 years young and I currently weight about 217 lbs. I have been competing in the bench only since 1996. I currently own the WNPF NJ State Bench Press record in the Master 50-54 @ 425 lbs. (8/6/05). On 11/13/05 I competed in the WNPF World Bench Press Championships and I took first place. I broke the world bench press record in the masters division by 85 lbs. (55-59) alone with the NJ State record, and American record @ 430 lbs. Alone with being a 2 time world champion.
I'm currently training for a raw meet in September 06. I'm also going to compete in a new event, body weight for reps. I'm hoping to get 25 + reps. In October 06, I'll be competing at the World Championships again in the raw division and hoping to break some more records.
I don't have any secrets in my sucess except the passion to bench and to be the best bencher at my age and weight class.
