I have lifted weights off and on for many years - usually concentrating on more of a bodybuilding type routine. A couple of years ago I was introduced to power lifting by reading an article written by Louie Simmons of Westside Barbell. I started implementing Westside principles into my training but it got more serious after I began training with Ox Mason at East Coast Barbell. I have learned so much over the last year by training with Ox, Barry, Tim, Travis, and the incredible guys at Granite City Barbell. I ain't no spring chicken and I'm in the process of overcoming shoulder injuries, but I feel that I still haven't peaked and the best is yet to come.
I eagerly anticipate training, learning more, getting better and competing, and I enjoy helping others and being able to pass on some of what I have learned.
