This will be a great opportunity for everyone to get out and show some love for the Clayton guys. The last meet they put on was alot of fun and Kyle had some sweet ass trophies. There are plenty of members on here from different places so spread the word. This will be the 3rd APF meet we've had so far this year which is a Helluva improvment from the past.
Support the sport either by lifting or just going to spectate. Either way. the only way to keep the sport strong in NC is to be active!

whats wrong wiff ya big man? and you makin da 181s now? we all know that is a joke. no really i've been having some issues with my shoulder and i'm doing the whole ART treatment now but it will just take time. my left arm is weaker than my right. when i unrack the weight it feels like it is 200 lbs heavier in my left arm. i mean i shift my whole body to the left to recover. but anyway. 80% sure i'm not doing the meet but just got back from the beach sat. and a week off from training and work does a lot of good. we will be there and i will have my gym bag. later man

I would first like to say congrats to all the lifters who competed in the Clayton meet....also congrats to Kyle for putting on such a great meet to lift and be at, thanks to all the great judging from our APF judges and to our numbers ladies whom always do such a fantastic job....I would like to say a big congrats to Chip Stewart on his 804.5 New world record bench press! What a lift....I would like to congrats my training partner and best friend on hitting that big 600# bench, winning the 275's total and winning best overall lifter for the meet!....I am proud of you brother....thanks to everyone that was there to help and support our lifters....Once again I am proud to be assoiciated and be a North Carolina Powerlifter....

Thanks for giving me the board address Joey, I finally found you on the web! That 700 in March blew me away, and I was blown away again by Chip's 804. I am always humbled by the big boy's at APF and learn so much from you heavy hitters! As I tell anyone who will listen, this sport is underappreciated and I think most have never even seen any strongman or powerlifting events at all, let alone consistantly support either sport. Powerlifters look good, feel good, and it's time everyone else got on board. Thanks for the photo Joey, looking forward to the next meet....
