Hello everyone, I know it's been long time no see, but I was in a hail wind of moving to Oklahoma, sick children, and craziness, but I should be getting back to posting regularly again. I been hitting the gym on the regular or as much as possible. I finally found a powerlifter friendly gym called Body Tech out here in OK and it's nice. It's got some lifters there and it's only $30 a month. It was a bench night tonight. My lifts have gone up since the last time I posted. I'm maxing at 405 and working on 415. I'm pretty sure I'll be there in a couple of more weeks. Here's the low down...
RAW Bench: 1X135X15 1X225X5 1X275X3
SHIRTED PRESS: 1X315X5 1X365X3 3X405X1 2X415X1 (attempted, but 2" short of lock out)
MACHINE PRESS: 1X135X20 1X225X15 1X315X5 1X135X25 (Went until failure)
I know the reps seem excessive, but I needed to get a different type of workout to shock my muscles and hopefully keep them growing. I'm working back in a PT squadron right now and we end up running 3.5 to 4.5 miles twice a week and some really intense circuit training (running and calisthenics) on at least one day of the week. It's almost impossible for me to keep growing now. I can't even eat enough calories to keep up without eating junk food. Let me know if anyone has any suggestions to help with this problem. I'm running out of ideas and I'm already drinking a half gallon of milk a day on top of meals and protein (300-400g daily).
