I just read this interveiw by Elite FTS.com with Scott Yard and this insert caught my eye on: www.elitefts.com/documents/scott_yard.htmHow have your training partners helped you? Scott Yard: In my eyes, training partners and your supporters are the most important pieces to the puzzle. To be successful, you have to surround yourself with successful people. To stay successful, you also have to thank the ones who sacrificed for you. I always make sure I thank my lady and my family for all they do to keep me going. My training partners and family are my biggest reasons for success. I owe 99 percent of it to them. I think alot of people need to read that and relize that alot of people help in helping us achieve our goals and the sacrifices that people make for us....Thanks to all that have helped me and to the ones that continue to help and support me....

I have been blessed with wonderful training partners, they encourage, support, teach, inspire, yell at me, make me cry, tell me to suck it up, make me laugh, and love me. I could not ask for anything more! I love each of the people I train with for many different reasons, each one gives me so much! I could not do this without them! Thanks guys, you rock!

i agree 100%. thank you to all that have helped me. i try to thank them often. . also on that same note you need to give as much as you take. you may note be able to coach yet but load plates, spot, pull shirts, stay around until everyone is finished, be truthful, we don't need cheerleaders we need partners. thanks again

99% of us wouldn't have acomplised shit if not for the support we get. Stop and take an inventory of your life; you'll notice most of the people involved in this sport are the as good of friends as you've ever had.

My training partner is my only supporter. My wife and I are getting divorced, my Mom and Dad think I am out of my mind. Tadpole is my only person in my corner. He directs me and pays close attention on all my sets. Sometimes we have our run ins but overall if it were not my training partner I would not be shit in the gym. My life right now is very difficult to live and everyday it gets harder to deal with some of the shit. You know what though.........You can not live your life for other people.

It takes a special group of people to meet at a gym day after day, week after week, etc. Have your training partners miss a session and see how far you get with out them. Your partners hold the keys to your success. I can't get 500 out of the bench by myself, nor can I walk 700 out of the monolift either by myself. Thats just the physical part of it. The mental push that you give each other is incredible. To many people get caught up in me,me,me if their partners bailed on them they would be up shit creek! I wouldn't be at the level I at without everyone involved with Team Torture. I'm very fortunate to have all of them!!
