I have a soft ball size area in my middle back that hurts like hell ONLY when i put a bar on my back. At work or any other daily activity I don't even know it's there. My chiropractor took x-rays and seen nothing out of place and said with the compression of the back, spine and all that crap is whats causing the pain. If I give it a couple weeks off it gets better but one good workout and it's 3 weeks at least before I can put heavy weight on my back again. For example the week before last I squatted heavy and ended with 2 PR's, the week after that I took the heavy workout off completely due to pain. This week I did ok but every set hurt from 145 on. Kinda hard to train for squatting over 800 (hopefully) when you can't put much more than 500 on your back and concentrate on squatting it and not how bad it hurts. I'm very frustrated right now but I'm calling Louie and Mark B today to see if they have any suggestions. Any light you guy's may be able to shine on the situation will be greatly appreciated.

Sound like a compressed disc to me. I would get it checked out just in case. I have two compressed discs. You can learn to deal with them.
