let's see, i've learned a lot from lots of people but i learned the most from the best technician in the sport, BILL CRAWFORD. we had the chance to bring him to NC and have a seminar so we jumped on it. but to my surprise not many people came. i think we might of had 20 people. i mean how many times are you gonna get that chance. anyway we worked together that day and then i flew up to his gym and did a meet and he worked with me a lot up there and we talked at least twice a week for about a year. now on to who is my major influence, i've just always had the drive to be one of the best at whatever i do. champions are made not born. one more thing, north carolina has great things to come but lets all remember T ogether E veryone A chieves M ore

What is the first thing you would tell any woman, or man for that matter, just starting out?

What is the first thing you would tell any woman, or man for that matter, just starting out? don't make it complicated. stick to the basics and try to learn 1 or 2 things every week or two. continue to work on those things and add to them. use lighter weight when trying new form or technique, that way you can think under the weight instead of just trying to push it up. have people watch you and be honest. we don't need cheerleaders we need partners. also a video camera is a big asset to any lifter. you can critique yourself after every lift or training session. these are just a few. feel free to come and train.
