I haven't actually competed (YET) but I have to have some heavy shit when I work out. I voted Metallica because they occupy the most space on my mp3, but most of it is OLD Metallica (when Cliff was still alive, god bless him). I also love Motorhead in the gym, as well as Slayer, Pantera, RATM, etc. Some of the new metal bands are really good, but most of the new stuff is just too atonal for me...if there's no melody, all the heaviness in the world is just wasted, IMHO. Slipknot is an intriguing band, though. It's pretty funny lifting with Joey...He'll be throwing up 600 or something and have his music all cranked up and come out with.."What'chall know about some old Cure?"..or "I think we'll go with Michael on this one." I don't know how he does it

Haven't competed yet but what I like to listen to, to get me pumped... Thats a tuff choice as I like all the options but the one that gets me pumped up the most would have to be Rammstein - Du hast. Other favorites would have to be Pantara, Godsmack, Kid Rock

Hard toss up Milli Vanilli is good and all but I am leaning more towards Dimmu Borgir!
